Police brutality

Not to give SandEagle a hardon, but human gang-mentality goes both ways. A young troubled youth can get sucked into something that is out of character, the same that a good LEO can be dragged in by his roid-raging militant buddies.

Wow! that town will be paying up soon. Easily could have broken his neck.

But, but, they're heroes. First responders!

Thug cops have always been a problem but it's good that they're finally coming under some scrutiny. Lot of folks sitting behind the protection of the badge that are just there on a power trip. Then they sit and wonder why people don't trust them. The fact that American police forces have become more militarized in recent years hasn't helped the situation.

It's actually kind of scary to think of how often this probably happens off camera.

Nice to see that this particular incident is at least being looked into. Most of the time nothing happens. Not that administrative leave is much. If a civilian was doing this he/she would be charged with battery or something similar. Cops should not be able to disobey the law.

But watch out if you download a movie or share a few MP3s or even ebooks. 10+ years in jail and a fine bigger than the total amount of money that actually exists in the country. No parole, no trial, and no need to prove anything, because it's categorized as civil. God bless America.

This is one of the most bizarre misconceptions of the legal system I've ever read.

how about two officers shooting another officer of a different race on the same police force.
