Something something... unions are great, something something... Definitely not ripe for abuse of power.

But hrm, for some reason now you want to disband them? Fancy that lol :p

Keep on toolin' tools.

EDIT: Posted before seeing @ivwshane post above, haha.

If you support a type of organization that means you can't hold them accountable or reform them for anything?

I agree. The police we have in America right now all need to be replaced. The replacements need to be checked and balanced on a continual basis.

That will never happen, because the majority of citizens are actually just fine with their behavior.

You think your 'gotchya' comments are clever, but they make you look foolish because they are usually misplaced and almost always dishonest. Keep flinging that feces and screaming at the mirror though, it seems to make you happy.

There's clearly no difference between a union of people that build cars and a union of people that have developed a nasty habit of performing extrajudicial executions.

/s Because I guess sometimes even though I think it's painfully obvious that it's sarcasm, it may not have been obvious enough?

Seemed pretty clear from Bob Kroll's speech a year-or-two back, that some cops, and certainly cop unions, see their first loyalty as being to Trump rather than to the US people or the Constitution. The very existence of police unions seems to affect the mentality of the police, as the Chicago study of Florida case seemed to demonstrate.

(when I first heard Bob Kroll referred to in speech I misheard it as Bob Crow...which was very confusing)

You do realize that person could have been giving a hand signal to another cop that was out there to retreat further in like they were?

All the others were retreating, it kind of makes sense to tell the rest of your police force...

Looks to me like that one fat cop moves the barricades and waves the mob through. Not sure what your seeing?

Not doubting you - but what second in the video is a cop moving the barricade out of the way?

And we sincerely can't know who the cop is signaling to - you can see looking to a hole in the crowd on the left side of the screen, but we can't see what is to the left. I would presume another cop.

I'm not sure what's going on there, it's a very short clip. Looks like the cop is waving people on, and indicating the direction, almost shepherding them. But I don't know where that is or at what point in the proceedings it was, and hence what it means. Didn't look to me like it was the cop who moved the barriers, that was surely one of the moving crowd doing that?

I kind of think that if there were real active involvement by cops (as oppposed to the docile 'stand aside and let them through' behaviour that is clear on much of the footage) that more definitive footage of it would have emerged. (Just as I'll only be convinced any anarchist false-flaggery was involved if absolutely solid photographic evidence is produced - all the idenfiable characters in photos so far have been clearly identified as known Trumpers).

You are correct its a protester moving the barrier my bad.

It certainly does APPEAR however that the cop is waving the crowd on through. (it is also possible he's waving to another cop to retreat but I doubt it)

Wait...

You're telling me that right-wing authoritarians INSIDE the police force are...right-wing authoritarians?

I. AM. FUCKING. SHOCKED.

It's almost like this has been brought up before by the FBI, over decades, in multiple reports.

Or: Some of those that work forces...

Just because it's no surprise at all doesn't make it okay! ;)
