Wow - you're a moron.

Well I'm capable of putting up a poll on an internet forum, so if I'm a moron what does that make you?

 The "post message" hung and then tried to go back into it. It was there but disappeared after the hang.

I'm just giving you a tough time. Actually the second time I posted here (the one quoted above) the only option in the poll was "Yes, I'm voting McCain" and I thought you were being a smartass.

It's impossible to know until we see how the election plays out.

What sort of things would tip it one way or another for you?

Some kind of Katherine Harris-style jury-rigging of the system in one or more key states to decide the election. Actually the word on the streets is that the Secretary of State in Ohio (also, coincidentally, female) is an over-the-top Democratic partisan and is bending over backwards to favor early registration and voting by ACORN-mobilized voters, so maybe we have this year's Katherine Harris already.

My guess, though, is that this election won't be close, and the presence or absence of tampering won't be dispositive or anything close to it. As a result, I anticipate I will accept the results without discomfort.

I will be pissed if there is fraud going on, no matter who it benefits.

Bank Robber: Will you accept anything that happens in this bank today as legal and not out of the ordinary?
Teller: Of course!
Bank Robber: Give me money, I'm robbing you.
Teller: Ok! I guess I agreed to accept it, didn't I? Hahaha you're so sneaky!

What a dumb question this is. Almost as dumb as this little scene I wrote.

How the heck are you supposed to know until the election is over with?

Odd question to say the least.

Define accept

Accept without questioning anything? No, I want to make sure Diebold hasn't rigged any states. Right now voting machines are notoriously shitty. We need to stop using Diebold.

Accept them as my POTUS? Sure, so long as an investigation is done on any reports regarding election fraud.

So what exactly would need to "happen" for you to not accept the results?

I tried to answer your question, but in all fairness we would need a crystal ball to predict what MIGHT happen and, accordingly, whether or not we would accept the results. I also take exception to the way the question is phrased - what exactly does it mean to "accept the results" anyway? I firmly believe that absent a number of discrete acts of partisanism and jury-rigging in Florida in 2000, Al Gore would have been President, and God knows I would have preferred that, but I still "accept the results," and that Bush was in fact elected President.
