As in, the one where people make longer than 1-word posts with actual thought and meaning behind them?

From a recent thread:
This question is hard to answer because a six-year difference means different things depending on how old the two people are. For example:
Guy = 28 Girl = 34 No difference. They'll get along fine.
Guy = 20 Girl = 26 Big diff. They won't last a week.
As you get older (me ) it gets harder to find single women that don't have 3 kids, two cats and a dog. Or a psycho ex-husband who "just happens" to be there 4 nights a week, even though they've been divorced two years already.
My history is such that for the past 10 years or so, I dated older women. For a number of reasons. Most importantly most older women are past the "I'm going out w/my girlfriends and i'll call you whenever" stage that I absolutely abhor. I won't date a woman if I have to worry about her safety and/or her cheating on me constantly.
Two years ago, I got very luck and met my current GF. She is 9 1/2 years younger than I am. Which makes her 23. You do the math. She was tired of the club scene and typical 21-year old guys and games that 21-year olds play. (No offense to anyone here...just talking)
Like a smart girl, she knew that "older guys" have better, more stable jobs, cooler cribs, nicer toys, etc. and USUALLY don't play games.
Interestingly enough, it turned out that it WAS ME w/the kid. I have a 5-year old son, who lives w/his mom here in town. I see him every other weekend, pay my child support and love him dearly. Honestly, he was "unplanned" but that doesn't mean I don't love him w/all my might. I hate ("hate" is a word I don't throw around loosely) his mom. The feeling is mutual.
But anyway, the 6-year diff, makes a diff, depending on the ages of the two parties involved.
Tune in tomorrow night at eight, for "Counseling with Doctor Mike."
