My Hoya Pro1 circular polarizer mysteriously developed a nice scratch 😉 , so I am looking to replace it, possibly with a Heliopan. Any users out there who can say that it is worth the extra $$ ? They are priced 3-4x more than the Hoya or Tiffen, so I'm wondering if such a filter is really meant for top of the line glass, as opposed to consumer lenses. Any help is appreciated.
 
all but 1 of of my filters are heliopan, IMO they are worth the money, built like tanks and the have lasted forever.
