I'm leaving on a Royal Caribbean cruise in a couple weeks and it looks like they use this PokerPro system instead of regular dealers/cards in the casino.

Has anyone played on one of these? What was your opinion of the experience versus "live" poker?

Never heard of them until this link.

Looks cool but I would be worried about how secure they are and how they can be viewed by the pit bosses when needed not to mention how buggy they can be since even the best slot computerized slot machines act up at times.

Also where are all the big breasted dealers going to go... I think the strip bars are full.

And there is so much fun showing only one card when you win a pot to confuse the hell out of the people that this will take away from that. :(

I might play for shits and giggles on a cruise, but i sure as hell would never EVER play that in Vegas. This will not catch on in the real poker community.

ive seen them in vegas or atlantic city,. they were interesting.

I used them a few times...its just like playing poker online...speeds up the game alot. I still prefer the cards and chips though.

Exactly.

When you go out that's what most people expect, not to sit in front of a computer that they can do at home.
