I've played poker recreationally at $1/3 no limit.
Never used his SuperSystem because it seemed too aggressive at this stake.

RIP

I'm not a big fan of poker, because a friend of mine wastes his money online with it, but he's mentioned Doyle Brunson enough time that I almost feel like I know him.

RIP, sounds he was a great guy, and a great Poker player.

I figure to be really great at poker requires character.

Poker's fun among friends, and of course, only if you can trust them. I got an Uber ride yesterday that lasted maybe 20 minutes... San Diego to the airport. The guy never stopped talking. He talked a fair amount about Vegas and I mentioned that I've never gambled, never once pulled the arm on a slot machine, played craps, roulette, nothing, never even bought a lottery ticket. I added that I have enjoyed some poker (I've only played a time or two, with friends, since high school, when I played with high school friends once in a while). He tells me about his knowledge/experience with institutional poker and that pros team up and fleece marks at the tables. They signal each other, he said.
