The hilarious bit is that this is basically introducing augmented reality to millions of people who otherwise wouldn't have touched it.
I can't help but feel a bit of sympathy for Ingress players: they'd waited years for the day their game would hit the mainstream, only to watch as Pokemon Go (admittedly, based in no small part on Ingress ideas) completely destroys it overnight. It's like holding a candle for an unloved indie band and then having to grit your teeth as they change their sound and hit the top 40.
Any adult playing this stupid game needs to be slapped! Pokemon pfft!
Ingress has a lot more depth and team play to it.Isnt it Ingress to begin with?
