Just take a shower when you are done (before the urishiol soaks in) and wash everything you were wearing out there.
For me, contact dermatitis from Ivy, Oak, or Sumac requires a trip to the doctor or sometimes ER for a shot in the ass and then a 21 day Prednisone course. Fuck that I hate it.

That Tecnu wash looks promising for washing up after. Thanks to whoever posted that.

Ok so to update. Thanks first to all those with suggestions. I ordered this as a barrier cream: http://coretexproducts.com/ivyx_b

I looked for ivy block (no longer manufactured) and found another product called Stokoguard. Stokoguard has several "skin protection" products but none of the descriptions weren't clear if they protected against poison ivy so I went with the Ivy X.

The technu stuff seems like it is more widely sold so I'm going to look at CVS, walgreens etc.. and see if I can find it.

I'm going to be postponing my brushcutting until the Ivy X blocker comes in the mail. Never knew how bad poison ivy was until I became susceptible to it. Whereas before I would fearlessly enter the woods, I'm far more careful nowadays.

You're going to throw clothes knowingly covered in poison ivy oils into the washer you share with your family? Dick move

Just use old clothes and throw them out. Go to goodwill if you have to.

I doubt the oil would survive laundry detergent, hot water and a super wash cycle...
