Apparently Apple is going to be making a series out of William Gibson's Neuromancer. Feels weird having a megacorp make Neuromancer into a series.
 
I played my show for Pride, it went well. The next band was up at 1PM (touring band), the local band playing at 3PM was supposed to provide backline for them (amps and drums), but were delayed because of a ferry. I hit up my contact list and had a drum kit in place for them in time for sound check, got them access to a guitar amp, and the bass player for the other band did arrive in time. It was nice to be in a position to help them out like that rather than have the line-up get jacked around (and they were very appreciative).
 
I hadn't generally been aware that you could install SteamOS on non-Steam Deck devices, and it looks like... kinda? And only recommended if you have an AMD GPU?

The basic offerings are the Steam Deck & Legion Go, plus the MSI Claw & ROG Ally X handhelds. Expanded support requires an AMD CPU, NVMe drive, and recommended handheld format:

A few ways. For me, I use AI a lot and have a background in photography & video. Film & video has a certain look to it due to the glass used etc. Those images are too clean & glossy to be shot by a real camera. The AI software uses machine learning to detect characteristics, plus a lot of AI content has hidden watermarks in it:

Google’s AI-created content now hosts an invisible “signature.” A mathematical key can reveal the presence of this digital watermark, called SynthID.

After you said something, I looked over Muse's post again, and thought "yup". The 1952 shot is way too crisp to my eye. Nice story though.
 
How do the ice machines outside grocery stores, and gas stations keep ice frozen on 100 degree days?

They're basically big metal boxes. They might be better suited for boiling water.

It's very close to how Sony cameras look, which is great for weddings & stuff, but the lens effects are off, the bokeh isn't right, etc. Plus the framed photo looks funny, has no glare, and overall has no flaws like a real camera photo would have.

Midjourney v7 & Higgsfield Soul can make undetectable images & video now, however.

I pretty much stay the fuck away from social media (i.e. FB, Instagram, Whatsapp, TikTok, X). Unless you call AT forums and reddit social media. I watch some YT stuff too.
