I have NO problem buying stuff with my own money, using it for a few days and writing something up about how I feel about it.

I have a REAL problem with people offering or getting stuff for 'free' on the condition they write a positive 'review'. I will NOT do that.

Who said you have to give the free stuff a positive review?

I've actually seen quite a few 1-2 star "sponsored" reviews on Amazon.

The situation might end up that they send you a bunch of crap you don't want/need and then expect work put into reviews, so then a matter of if the things you like, are worth your time spent reviewing things you don't.

They don't send anything you don't request. They make a list of things available for you to choose from. Wednesday there was nothing. Yesterday there were 18. This morning there are 5, but no way to order any. Seems like they only post a limited number and if you don't jump right away, the stuff gets gone.

Couple of LED light things, some bedding, some clothing, some USB trinkets, some kitchen gadgets. Nothing I really wanted to begin with.

Spam calls have started recently. They had all but stopped for a few weeks.

I figure they're either political or related to medicare open season. I'm half tempted to answer and go into a major league profane tirade denigrating their choice of work and raining shame down upon them.

But I figure they'll already have all my personal details, so ....

Finally figured out some of the Vine thing. Apparently that system doesn't like my browser even though the normal 'Zon system works fine. I can order stuff in Vivaldi for some reason.

Need a new wallet since mine is falling apart. They offer several. Decided to try two and see which works best since they're free and all.

Also found a10 pack of RJ45 Keystone jacks that I can use.

At the risk of going into P&N territory.
Went to get a coffee Friday and inside the place there was a person wearing cat ears, cat tail and something on their hands that looked like cat nails.
I walked out literally like Grandpa Simpson. The image is very accurate, I simply didn’t have a hat.

Now I feel guilty maybe it was a Halloween thing but I am not sure.

I have to admit, some of the stuff is pretty cool. Things I've either bought before (like LED strip/accent lights) or stuff like this I've considered buying. These are about $60 in most big box stores:

Wide assortment of LED ATV/Tractor type work lights, garden hose fittings that I know can be $20 or more in stores, some connector kits that I've seen priced at $15-20

This could get interesting.

Been getting offers for some pretty cool stuff. Things I've been wanting anyways, not just random junk. Orders should start arriving this week.

Lots of outdoor solar lighting things that I've wanted to try for places I don't have power. Will they last? Who knows. But at least I don't have to pay to find out.

One thing is they do a new form 1099-NEC (non employee compensation) if you exceed $600 in 'value' a year. Some of the stated fair market values are higher that what the items sell for too. In just this past week, I'm rapidly approaching that number.

Just watch out for fixtures that have built in LEDs, especially if you're buying more than one that will go in the same place. In 10-20 years from now if the fixture dies you will not be able to find a replacement that looks the same. Not a fan of this myself because of that. Be nice if they just stuck with using standardized bulb sockets.
