Pointclick gone bust?

I originally applied for my Pointclick Rebate back in September, it's now the end of December and still I haven't received a penny from them.

I normally email them once a month enquiring about my rebate, and each time they tell me they are getting funding approved and my cheque should arrive shortly. Well "shortly" has turned into 4 months now, and still nothing has happened.

I have a $100 owing to me, but I think the chances of me receiving that money are slim to none - and slim left town!

Is there anybody else still awaiting a Rebate from months ago, or am I the only one left unpaid?

You won't be getting paid, I bet. I saw another board taking a sort of unofficial tally of members who were still owed money and how much, and the total after about five days of keeping track was about $50K for that board's members alone. I never had the patience to sit around clicking on their stuff, so I can't personally verify if checks are coming, but since no one's been paid for several months, I'm guessing you won't see one either.

There's a thread about this over in the 'Hot Deals' forum. There is also a link to an article that appeared on another source. It looks like Pointclick is dead - the funding they were hoping for was never provided by the venture capitalists. I *had* *cough* *cough* $45 that I should have received from them. Pointclick R.I.P.
