Point of Existence mod for Battlefield:Vietnam is out

Looks interesting, I will definitely try it this weekend. Have player models been adjusted or all russinas will look vietnamese?
 
Tell you the truth, I haven't really noticed the player models much... I can tell you the new vehicle models are done very well, but many of the weapon sounds are not new.

For those of you wondering about the sounds, word is the sound guy lost internet around the due date and was unable to contact the team or upload his work and it was taking longer to do than he anticipated (or maybe he was just slacking). Supposedly he is 80% done. They may add a sounds patch or just add them in .2.


For those looking for a great server to play on, I highly recommend Way of the Gun's (a TWL and CAL top 5 team) POE server at 67.19.190.118. 😉
 
Every time I play it the computer locks solid and have to reboot. What I have played looks ok but I shall wait for the next release or bug fix update.
 
This mod has a long way to go, but if they'll stick with it, it may turn out to be quite interesting. They shoud definitely build some custom maps.
 
I have been playing this POE since the day it came out. I love it. Compared to DC when that first came out this mod blows it out of the water. BFV's price alone is worth it for the mod. The new and improved DC.

Really? All I see available are stock BF:V maps. Besides, it crashes my system to desktop after 1 min of play so I'll sit out till the next release.
 
Works Great on my system.. do not try to run those maps in single player it is NOT supported.. it will casue a crash every time..
play online and its veyr stable with their maps...

OUTSTANDING ALPHA..
give this one time... it already kicks the crud outa DC... and its an Alpha..

maybe that's why I was having all these crashes - a single player mode. I usually start off with the single player to familiarize myself with the map. I'll multiplayer. Thanks!

Just host a LAN multiplayer if you want to do that. Should work np.
