So the Middle East is largely Muslim and devout.
Now I have heard the same people argue that we are spreading democracy in Iraq and elsewhere, that they will get to be peaceful and properous countries and in the next breath claim that their religion (which they have not renounced) compels them to kill or convert us.
So are the Iraqi citizens lusting for democracy, or are they bloodthirsty killers?
Maybe they will be bloodthirsty people living in a democracy. Wouldn't be the first time for that.
