That's why there were shcools in San Diego, CA a few years ago busing in kids from across the border so they could fill seats. You think the immigrants are taking advantage of the schooling system. I think it goes both ways.

Illegal immigrants getting checks in the mail from the goverment? People getting rich on welfare and buying houses with the welfare money? Free dental care? Which illegal immigrants are arriving in turbans and ford trucks? I don't think we have a huge Arab illegal immigrant problem, and the illegals we have didn't drive up in trucks.

Yes there's a problem with illegal immigration, but this poem doesn't do anything to describe them.

My response to your well thought out critique follows.....

It isn't factual on the many specific points, but of course we're supposed to realize that that's all for comedic effect.

It IS true that we have an illegal immigrant problem and that they ARE costing tax dollars. I think that's all you're supposed to take away from it. The rest is just amusing filler.

Fair enough. Although I'm still reluctant to believe that illegals come here just to get free sh!t and laugh at us white folk. I agree that welfare needs to be reformed, but I don't think everyone who's on it is some cheating, mooching devil.

Maybe I just have too much faith in my fellow man...

29% of illegal hispanics I believe are on welfare..all you have to do is get pregnant in Mexico, cross the border, pop out your baby in one of our world class hospitals, get out with no bill, your child is a citizen and you get welfare benefits.

I don't live in California, I live on the east coast. But let me tell you what I see around my neighborhood. I go to the old historic downtown section of my town and am hard pressed to see ANYBODY who is NOT hispanic and even harder pressed to find anyone speaking in English. There are people driving around in overloaded cars with 10 and 12 guys in the back of a pickup truck. . .the neighborhood school is overcrowded and kids are taught in mobile trailers because of the overflow. It wasn't always like this. I don't know where these schools are you're talking about where they have to bus in Mexican kids to fill up all the seats but they sure aren't in my hometown, that's for sure.
