poe switch config

Hi all. Who knows poe switch config? there is a problem for me. I want to configure my PoE switches power OFF port at next time-range, like, power on from 7:00 to 21:00 at workday; power off all days from 0:00 to 23:59 at weekend. I tried, but didn’t work, How can I do this please? Thanks

I have never run in to a switch with this ability, are you sure it can do this? Also what switch are you using. The only way I can think up to do this with anything I had would be to use my NCM and compliance system to fire scripts at certain times.

Also, why do you want this?

You'll have to get a green based PoE switch. I have a ZyXEL PoE+ business switch and Im looking and it seems it doesn't support it.

Green based will just guarantee you that POE ports go to low power mode if not needed.

You will need a managed device that can allow time-based access lists/interface settings.

In the Cisco world, this would be done with EEM.
