PocketPC ActiveSync!!! AHHHH

Well I just recovered from formatting the wrong partition, and then a format and reinstall of windows. I install Active Sync and it just wouldnt sync at first, the device would say its connected, but Active sync would say its still connecting! But miracoulously it started working later on. But now, its not working once again!! I tried upgradeing to 3.5, did nothing, and its just so frustrating!!

I'm using a USB cradle hooked directly on the back of my computer.

Yes, I think i fixed it, i beleive it was because that I have a USB hub, I couldnt use all the devices at once, I unplugged the hub, and pluged and the cradle worked, plugged hub back in and one of the lights went yellow, when I disable the cradle the light turns green, when I turnthe cradle backon, the light goes back to yellow. strange. anyway around this or am I just stuck?

I couldn't get mine to work with a USB hub. Is yours a powered hub? I think it has to be to work. I was just going to say that until I went to winxp I had problems with syncing even with activesync 3.5. Only had this problem with my IPAQ, although it might be a cradle problem.

I use mine with a non-powered USB hub...works fine.

I had similar problems, but a bit worse (as I couldn't get my sync to work at all.) I ended up getting a serial cradle, and now all is well.
