Pocket PC Proxy Server?

My school implemented a ton of new security measures over the summer holiday and now they've blocked access to a lot more websites, including foreign proxies so that we can't use them now. Those of us who consider ourselves the technological gurus of the school have come up with an idea. The idea is to take a Palm Pilot with WiFi capabilities running XP Mobile and set it up so that it connects to the school's wireless network and acts as a proxy server. Could this be done? Note: My school's wireless network is open and unencrypted 😀.

WHY?

Also, they security measures the school have in place are there for a reason. Talk to an admin if you think some of the website blocking is unreasonable.

Ummmm...if they block internet access on their network to certain sites, what is setting up your own proxy server behind that security going to do to get you to the sites they're blocking? Setting up a proxy behind their security only makes it so all the web traffic comes from your proxy server, nothing more. This is a stupid idea.
