Hmmm, has anyone every had to return there pny cards back for rma?... The reason I'm asking this is because my gf3ti200 crapped out *memory went bad* and I called there cs hotline and got a rma number for it to be sent back. I talk to the guy and asked how long it would take, and he said that whenever they get it there will be a 4 to 5 day turn around *so I guess I will get it back 4 to 5 days or will it be 4 to 5 days then another week before it gets sent back? They recived it on nov 15 from which I sent it on the 12th priority mail. And its been about 7 days or so *not counting turkeyday week*anyone that had experience with pny's cs please reply and lmk how it turned out.

Thanks

i had a ti4600 crap out on me and had to get through their crappy phone menu system just to leave a fricken message. i didnt get a return call for like two weeks and in the meantime i had the card rma'd back to newegg where i bought it and quickly replaced. i was sooo glad that newegg took it back and sent me a new one even though their blanket guarantee of 30 days was up. since i've bought thousands of dollars of stuff from them in this year alone they must've taken pity on me. it was nice of them to go out of their way to help me out when they prolly didnt need to. i am a customer there for life.

Thanks for the reply, yea I also had trouble leaving a message. They never called back... I got 2 emails back saying I need to call to get a rma number which was probably automated cause they were both the same.. *dur* But yea, I cannot really return it to where I bought it *buy.com* since I got it after christmas when I first thought building my first comp.

Thanks

Well lets see. I called them one time about my GF4 problems and left a message. I then fixed the problem and forgot my call to them. 5 months later they called me back and I told them I fixed it. I RMA'd my GF4 about a month ago. I just kept calling until I finally got someone rather than a machine. I sent it out to them around the end of October, and still haven't gotten it back. I figured it got lost in shipping, so I sent them an RMA status request 4 days ago, and haven't gotten a response yet.

Hi, i have a gf3 ti 200 that crapped out on me that I bought from newegg. I hear PNY's customer service is horrible. Should I try to get a RMA from them? Also, do you call them (newegg) and explain or do you just fill out the RMA request online? Did you have to pay return shipping? Thanks

It depends on how long ago you bought it, but you will probably be forced to send it back to PNY. Yes it does take forever, but no I didn't have to pay return shipping. I would look up newegg's return policy, and e-mail them if necessary.

Looking at their website, they say they can determine damage due to overclocking. How do they do this? I have a ti4400 that I want to rma, but I don't think the damage was from overclocking it. (It wasn't overclocked at the time the problems started). I don't want to send it to them and not get it back.

IF the damage wasn't due to overclocking, then I don't think they are able to tell that you ever overclocked it.

But if I send it to them and they decide that the damage was from overclocking, do they send it back, or am I screwed. It doesn't make sense that they would keep it, but I don't want to get screwed.
