I got a couple of these and they are about as fast as any. If you register them on their website the 3 year warranty goes up to 5 years.

Someone reported "Stuttering" in the storage forum, I think.

Anyways, I would make sure to update the firmware when you get the drive(s).

I feel duped.. this drive sucks compared to other drives that are out.. sure it was cheap but rather have paid 20 bux extra to get better performing drive.. the specs looked real good guess this will be getting returned or given away ;(

Newegg reviews show all bad benchmarks as well.. hmmm.. NOT HOT DEAL at all!

WEll i FInallllly got the 240gb xlr8 from Tiger direct to avoid tax..

but ran a test on current intel 330? 160gb (running atm) 440mb INTEL vs 250mb/s PNY and the pny is just a slave drive atm.. wow plugged it in to the wrong port on my z77 extreme4? or 1000mb test is the wrong one to do? sigh..

thought this drive would be a upgrade says 550 on the stats but i guess i will have to run the tests little further. (Intel 90% full and pny 60% full **same data on both)

So played with all the diff sata plugs on my pc.
