In my experience they have been great I had
a GF3 and now a Ti4200 and have no probs.
They overclock well and you cannot beat the
lifetime warranty. My $.02 anyway.

PNY video cards (especially the GF4 line of video cards) are outsourced by MSI, so they're actually MSI video cards.

They don't suck, but they usually lack any features. If you just want the video card, then it is a good way to go. If you want software, overclocking, or extra features then look elsewhere.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy another PNY video card. My PNY Ti 4200 runs at 300/600 no problems. I haven't tried higher...

I had a PNY Ti4400, ran at Ti4600 speeds no problem. Also came with those cool 3d glasses.

they're releasing the geforce fx ( supposedly ) on feb 5... seem to be the first to pump one out despite gainward's "launch partner" status.

no benchmarks, no buy...

How exactly can a videocard suck if it follows the reference design and uses the reference drivers? They are as good as any videocards out there, unless you need custom features or cooling options.

That's not QUITE true, some companies use better fans/filters/etc.

There are differences in the RAMDACs and 2D filters they use. Also the power capacitors, RAM, TV-out decoders, etc. etc.

I have a PNY GF3 Ti200, its not lacking in any ways, but doesn't OC nearly as well as my VisionTek GF3 Ti200.
