PNY Verto GeForce 6600GT

CompUSA has the PNY Verto GeForce 6600GT Video Card, 8x AGP, 128MB DDR3 on sale this week for $200 after rebate which seems to be a bit less than most other places that actually have 6600GT AGPs. However, after reading the 12/9 article on Anandtech about problems with the thermal tape and thermal glue of various (normally high quality) brands, I am nervous. The PNY Verto was not reviewed in the 12/9 article, so I am asking for your advice. What can you tell me about this card? Is it likely to have the same kind of thermal problems that the MSI, Gigabyte, and others had?
What about noise? Other than thermal meltdown, this is my single biggest concern. I liked the Leadtek and Galaxy scores for noise and want something close to that level of quiet. I am NOT planning to overclock (still am not confident enough to try alot of the stuff that I read about) so stock performance is more important than overclockability. I realize that this reduces my exposure to heat problems but I am afraid that even normal clock rate will cause thermal problems if the thermal tape/glue breaks.
What are your thoughts?? I hate to pass up a good deal.

I jumped in and got one. I'd been weighing the 6800GT's and 6600GT's for awhile and found that for what I do (graphics work, and minimal game playing ... maybe 2 or 3 games a year) the 6600GT was the right choice for me. Love the Dual-DVI since I plan on adding a second LCD later this year. For $200 I figure I can't go wrong ... plus it's got a working HD decoder ... something the 6800GT doesn't have.
