ok, which would you get, both are at Newegg:
PNY Geforce 3 Ti200 - $159, $9 ship = $168
MSI G3Ti200 PRO-D(T) (MS-8851) - $170, $5 ship = $175

I will be selling my Visiontek Ti200 to get one of these ( I want the DVI)
Any pros or cons on either?

By the way, the Ramdac is:
350 on the pny
400 on the MSI

Not sure what it means, but I would think that the faster one has to be better than the other.

Wherever you read that is incorrect. All GeForce3 cards have a 350MHz RAMDAC, that includes the MSI model. So far as I'm aware the Radeon 8500 is the only graphics card marketed toward the consumer market to offer a 400MHz RAMDAC.

Personally I don't care for either the PNY or MSI model, so I'll allow others to debate on their relative merits.
FWIW, MSI maufactures the PCB and base components of PNY's cards anyway so the differences should be minimal.

I bought the PNY from Newegg about a month ago and am very pleased. O/C's to 250/560. Haven't used the DVI.

As a side note, the PNY cards are manufactured by MSI for PNY. My card says MSI 8851 rev 1.30 on the card and the bios is MSI.

I have the PNY and have no complaints. It overclocks nice. I can't really comment on the quality of the video out. Back when I was using the analog VGA output my monitor was probably the limiting factor. Currently I'm using a Planar 18.1" TFT LCD with the DVI out and it is sweet looking.

I would get the PNY, virtually all nVidia based cards follow nVidia's reference card design and are pretty much the same so I would go with the less expensive model. If you are like most people on this forum who buy cards frequently you will be doing yourself a favor. Besides with VGA out, DVI out, and s-video out the PNY is a very full featured GF3 card.

Oh yeah, I also believe both cards have a 350Mhz RAMDAC. Even if the MSI has a 400Mhz unit you will not notice any difference unless your plan on using a very high resolution and refresh rate.

PNY is offering lifetime replacement warranty, I dunno about the MSI, I am also interested in the PNY.

Yeah, thought these cards were basically the same, both made by MSI. In any case, it'll probably boil down to what mfg. date Newegg is currently carrying for these cards and the included software. Actual hardware performance is minimal.
