Yeah, I also have had absolutely no problems with my XFX 6800GT
and I have it running at 410/1.110 - no stability errors, no artifacts, just a little on the hot side.
 
You might want to look at Chaintech. I have a Chaintech 6600GT dual dvi. Works great and one of the quieter cards that uses a fan shroud. In addition, you can use Gainwards Expertool to adjust the fan speed and stuff on this card. Their tech support also seems pretty nice. I emailed them about a missing component cable and they replied and got it to me a few days later at no extra charge.

That might be because BFG cards are overclocked out of the box. 😕
