OH MY GOD!!!!!! I left Fry's because the line was 5 or 6 hrs to check out and ran by Comp USA. I was able to get the PNY nVidia Ge-Force4 Ti-4200 for around $60 after a $30 rebate!!!!! Here's how it works:

Fry's today only price $129.99 - $30 MIR

Comp USA $169.99 - $40 INSTANT Rebate - another $30 MIR

I got 2 of these and this is how I made them do it:

Match Fry's price of $129.99 - another $40 Instant Rebate, then you get another $30 MIR!!!!!!

This way I only spent $90 each now and then wait for the $30 rebates.

They weren't real happy but they did it!!!!!!!!!

I am in Houston and I went to the B&M. The shelves were empty so I had him look in the back.

Good luck to any of you - I was so bummed about having to leave this behind at Fry's to go to work, but it ended up being a SCREAMING deal!!!!

Lucky you got this. Usually an instant rebate is just a price discount so it doesn't get reapplied. So normally all you would have ended up with is the same price as Fry's.

why would cusa pm their price before IR to fry's price? i think this is extreme YMMV depending on who's the cashier.

Just FYI:
Bestbuy has this card (64MB) like Fry's has it without any rebate for $99.00 So if you don't have CUSA then you can Pricematch Fry's with BB then get $30 so the total Stil little bit higher $66 then the deal posted.

I'm not s;ure how all that works, but it seemed to me that if Fry's today price is $129.99 they should offer that same price and then still give me the $40 instant rebate they had for the compusa customers. I didn't feel like that was out of line or I wouldn't have asked about it? Do stores normally do that? Maybe I just got lucky. The guy was very frustrated, as are all customer service people today and maybe he just didn't feel like dealing with it? Anyway, I'm a happy camper!!!!

I spent the morning at Circuit City making them pricematch Fry's. I managed to turn a pretty weak BF into a big haul with minimal stress. Best Buy was not that crazy in Houston... unlike last year and the year before.

Frys was out of control this morning... I saw the line out front well past 7 and said to hell with it

i didn't see anything in the title that lead me to believe that the deal was for the 128mb version, i'm sure you're the only one that was confused

CompuSSr 169.99 - 40 IR = 129.99

the price from CompuSSR is the same as fry's after $40 IR.
