PNY Memory plus buffalo memory

I have a shuttle nforce2 mobo with 2x256 pc3200 buffalo ram in it. I am running a barton 2800 so my ram is set at 333. I wanted to pick up some new ram and got a gift certificate to a local store. But this local store only carries PNY PC2700 in the 512 module.

IS PNY good ram?

Will this be compatible with my buffalo ram?

How does pny compare the kingmax. Cause Newegg sells a kingmax stick in the pc3200 that I could afford.

Isn't Buffalo ram usually ECC and buffered? I mean don't they make a lot of dual-processor/workstation ram?

I have use the Buffalo BH-5s. Worked great. Mixing with other such as PC2700 should be fine as long as your not running over the PC2700 (333mhz). Still, getting PC3200 to go along with your current PC3200 may let you run better in a future faster system. Let us know how it goes.
