Alright, you all know the drill.....

Looking for anyone with experience with the Gainward GeForce2 Ti/450 or the PNY GF2 Ti.

Specifically looking for comments on 2D visual quality, quality of build/manufacture, cooling capabilities, potential overclockability.
Also, I would very grateful if anyone knows what RAM is used on the PNY GF2 TI?

I've used/tested many other PNY/Gainward products so I can get a rough idea of their usual standards in terms of build quality, and 2D visual quality but unfortunately I havent used either specific model I mentioned.

The Gainward card offers 4.5ns memory, and have a history of providing very good 2D quality.

The PNY card offers TV-Out for the same price as the non-TVOut Gainward model and so is advantageous from that point of view.
But I'm questionable on it's 2D visual quality, and RAM speed.

Gainward has "better" 2D & 3D quality, that's why it's more expensive than PNY card
PNY card is equivalent with Visiontek, and maybe a slight "difference" is Leadtek Winfast.
MSI and Powercolor are "the most economics" but "poor quality".
ASUS has good 3D but "poor" 2D, equal to Creative
Hercules is a good one, but very expensive, so does ELSA
I don't know about some newcomers like Abit, Chaintech, Gigabyte or other alien:confuse;

Some people said about X is better or mine is the best
But they do not say that they just use a single card or two
A review or analylisis in a site like Anandtech or others uses some card to compare
That's why I still believe a comparative review rather than just a subjective declaration!;)

All I can say is that I built a system with GF3TI 200/450 and I OC'd it to 220/500 and the coolbits hack wouldn't let me OC anymore, but that is fast enough for me.

Is it just me or is your reply to every thread almost exactly the same?

Anyway, have you used either of the specific models I referenced above?
I've used many previous products from both manufacturers so I know well enough how good their 2D "usually" is, but I wish to know specifically about the two models I referenced above.

Thanks.

I have the PNY. Mine overclocks to 208/465 nicely. No complaints on the image quality. Much better than past nVidia based cards that have been in my system.
