I copped this card at TigerDirect.com. The price excludes shipping. Any opinions on this being a good deal or not?

Think twice.
and if that doesn't convince you not to deal with TD,
think again... until you change your mind.
 
Wow is TD a really bad retailer? I did notice the normal shipping charge is ridiculously high--$10.00, but then its total is still below other stores.
Any bad experience with TD to share? If I knew TD isn't a good retailer, I would not buy it there in the first place....
 
They have a habit of screwing people over on rebates. Its not really a rebate submission, its a submission to have a rebate denied.
 
That, and let's not forget the phone card fiasco! Quite a while back they were offering "free phone cards" with some minutes on them when you bought certian items. You could choose to turn it down or accept it, but they went ahead and sent them to almost everyone regaurdless. They passed on the credit card numbers of these people to the company who made the phone cards, and the customers were automatically billed periodically for them. If that won't turn you away from them, you might as well o ahead and post your credit card number right here and get the reaming out of the way. (Yeah, I don't like TD 😛 )
