Not a good deal as a 9500 pro can be had for close to that if you include taxes on the 4400 and the fact you have to wait for the rebate

I have this card... nothing really special about it these days since it performs just about the reference geforce4 ti4400. It has no heatsinks for the memory, uses a reference hs fan, and is as big as the ti4600 (about 2-3 inches longer than gf4 ti4200). The only thing that I liked about this card was that mine came with 3d glasses (electronic) and it has a lifetime warranty, not bad considering that I paid only $225 shipped about a year ago.

Oh yeah, this thing, though solid like a rock, gets hot like a mother. :) I had to replace my old steel case to aluminum cause my case temps were about 40C now their down to 30C. Mind you that I never overclock, these temps came from factory presets.

Yeah, but ATI drivers == dog doo.

Also, cheapest price I could find on the net was $204. So this one is >22% off (almost 33% off BB's price). That's as hot as the dell monitor deals lately. I got in on one of those, so I've been looking for a GF4 card w/ DVI for about a week. It's easy to pay more than this for the 4200. Actually, I may still have to do that, since I like the software bundle that comes w/ the MSI card and I probably can't get to BB until after the coupon expires. But thanks for pointing this one out Valvoline6!

Not sure if you have been keeping up in the last couple of months with the ATI Catalyst drivers, but they have got em down now, and the ATIs are smokin......

ATI drivers are fine for games and standard 2D usage...just be careful if you use your comp for anything else. This is a pretty good deal, but I would wait for the GF FX release to see how it effects the GF4 line.

Doesn't come with anything except, the driver disk. Didn't check if it came with NVDVD also. However, the card I got inside the box was a ti4600. Came with a note on the anit-static wrap saying it's a free upgrade. Of course, YMMV on getting that bonus.

What are the numbers on the box that had the bonus 4600 card? Maybe we can look for that(aka the WD 7200 in 5400 box from CC.

Now this is something interesting... although I think it is a isolated case. But it might be worth figuring out which boxes come with a free 4600 upgrade

Sorry there is nothing distinguishable about the box I got (serial #'s are not on the outside like hd's). I bought it at the Fairfield, CA BestBuy.

This isn't totally unbelievable. The GF4 Ti4400's were essentially discontinued from a production side of things in early November. However, PNY may have had contractual agreements with BB to carry a full product line, which included the GF4 Ti4400, so they packed the next closest thing in their 4400 boxes, the Ti4600.

Will sure be an upgrade over my current options: a integrated 64mb card or a TNT2 card :Q
