PNY 9600GT Fan

Hi guys!

A couple months ago my 9600gt fan has begun making an insane amount of noise...
I have a couple of things that I'm going to try to get it to try to make it a bit quieter, but so far I'm not having much luck.

My friend gave me the idea that I should put on an aftermarket cooler instead of buying another card -- I thought it was a great idea. Now, I need help knowing what fans will fit the 9600gt.

If anybody has suggestions for a cheap fan, that would be great -- I'm not looking to spend a fortune because this card is only worth ~$80 right now..

What size is the fan? Search Google for that size fan (in millimeters or inches). If it has three wires, it's got speed control so you'll want one that matches.

If you remove the fan, you may be able to read the manufacturer's label and possibly the model number. You can search Google for that to get the specs you need. You need the dimensions, the voltage and the amount of air it moves, usually spec'd in CFM (Cubic Feet/Minute).

If you have a choice, get one with double ball bearings because it will be quieter and last longer than those with sleeve or single ball bearings.
