This deal is back.

$89 - $40 MIR = $50 + shipping.

Decent deal for a pretty good card. I'm holding out for a <$100 4870 card though. It will come soon enough.

I'm with you and like I mentioned before, I think we'll see <$100 on the 4870 before the end of this month.

Is this the good version? I thought I read somewhere that 94 or 96sp really underperforms compared with 92 (or vice versa).

This is the good one. The bad one was 256-bit interface with only 48sp.

Very good deal for only $50 AR, and PNY has been the fastest with rebates out of all the other companies I've dealt with.

I see that this has a new rebate. Would I still be able to get it when I already bought one from the last deal?

If so, how would two of these perform in SLI relative to a single 4870 512MB or GTX260 216?

Can anyone recommend a good cheap SLI MB?

Look for 680i or 750i chipsets. 650i was a bit crippled and 780i/790i is quite expensive.

A pair of these in SLI should be able to smoke a 4870 512mb up to 1900x1200. I haven't seen any benchmarks or colorful charts of these in SLI, but I imagine the 192-bit bus will hinder it at higher resolutions with AA.

Anybody have the previous rebate form for this dated mid February to Feb-28? Thanks.

Fry's rebates are pretty easy to figure out, use the end dates for the file names.

They also added a direct link in your invoice online. If you go to your account and pull up your order history, there's an option within your order to CLICK TO SEE REBATES.

Any opinions on this card at ~$50 AR vs. the Radeon 4830 at around $70 AR at Newegg?

Would the performance increase be worth it?

So, will this 768MB card sli OK with my current evga 9600gso 384MB card? Does the memory size difference make them incompatible?

nope memeory size does not matter, you cans sli them, but you will only beablt to use the 386mb instead of the 768mb, it uses the smaller amount when sli'ed.

Do regular Fry's stores carry these?

They do carry it because it says it's available for store pickup.

PNY here

You would need to go partially through a checkout to see if the Fry's nearest you has it in stock.

edit;
None of the Fry's in my area has this item
