PNY 6800GT Question

Is the PNY 6800GT an okay card? Not many people talk about it so it gets me thinking that its probably a sour card that explodes when you play computer games.

HAHA.

Works great.

Runs @ 400/1100 for me as well as others.

The card won't explode 😉

Got it when CompUSA first got them in for 279.99 after 30% off. Its definately a great card, especially for what I payed. Mine clocks in at 405/1080, so a tiny bit over Ultra speeds on the core, and a bit under for the memory. To tell you the truth, I mostly play HL2 and CS:S and don't notice much difference between the 6800GT and a 9800Pro at the max settings. Then again, the max resolution on my LCD is 1280*1024, and the same goes for my plasma, which my Pro is connected to.

Ya the PNY is a pretty good card but seems that it wont oc as good as the other brands. Ive got mine running at ultra speeds with a nv silencer 5 and as ceramique 54degree idle and doesnt get higher than 65 degrees load.

I have run my PNY 6800 GT @ 425/1150 since I got it in July... Actually the same deal as osan0001.
