lol most i would ever spend on a video card is $200. It seems like video cards are the area of computers that are dramatically getting cut in price. Awhile back 300-400 would buy you the top of the line card now its 500+

BFG 6800 Ultra can go over $650. WEEEE!
 
I bought one at 7 pm est last night, got overnight shipping for 12$, was shipped from outpost 45 min later and should be at my door step in 3 hrs 😀

I really have no expectations for this card but I needed something to keep me from going insane untill the 6800 ultra extreme comes out
 
No it isnt.

The BFG at outpost wont be instock untill nearly the end of september, their next shipment is at the end of August but they have already sold out.
 
no friggin way.. damn was looking for this card now waiting the outcome of a company i dont know for an ultra i might not get. damn you outpost.

Your Ultra, and even most GT's will overclock to or past the ultra extreme speeds (450/1200).

Saw some really charitable yahoo give almost $500 for a $400 GT on Ebay a couple
of days ago. PT Barnum would love that place!

i'll try if i can afford the loss of my vid card but in the meantime i need to wait for another psu, i hooked up the 6800 and 15 min later my pc shut down 🙁
 
I ordered the Ultra and was told it would be available the 15th. I was sent a note today saying they can't meet demand, blah, blah. I called and was told they will now ship at the end of the month like oneshot said. I don't have all my other parts yet so I'll ride it out and monitor the other retailers.

woohoo...got min in 25 hours. About time a order i placed finally went through (this was my 6th attempt to get a card) ok, enough bragging...I'm gonna get back to staring at the clock waiting for 5 to hit.
