PNY 6800 SoftMod problems!

I'm starting from a fresh clean reformat using XP SP2, RivaTuner 2.0 RC15.2, ForceWare 66.93

Whenever I enable to extra piplines, I am prompted to reboot, I reboot, it never makes it back to windows. The only way to fix it is to go to safemode and uninstall rivatuner. I believe that something is wrong because everyone else is talking about getting artifacts when the pipelines do not work 🙁

Here is my procedure:
1) Low Level Settings > NVStrap driver tab > Install
2) Set to custom > place checkmark for bit 00 > confirm
3) hit checkbox "Allow enabling hardware masked units"
4) Asked to reboot > never makes it back to windows! It gets to where the mouse cursor loads with black background then it reboots itself in a loop.

What am I doing wrong? 😕

Should be bit 01 and bit 11. Not 00

Mine was bit 03 and bit 11. Not every 6800nu has the same quad disabled.

Yeah, mine is bit 00 and bit 11...any other suggestions?

any of you guys got your pny 6800 to unlock 4 piplines?

i tried but i get artifacts

Try using older drivers. I don't think Rivatuner supports the 66.93.

My Leadtek 6800 crashed with the 66.93 but work with the 61.77. Rivatuner should work until the 66.81 drivers.
