PNY 512MB Secure Digital - Office Depot - $34.97 No Rebates

Credit to Slickdeals:

Office Depot is clearing out PNY Secure Digital 256MB and 512MB cards. The 512MB card is showing up at $34.97 - MUST CHOOSE IN-STORE PICKUP. There is also a $10/$50 coupon floating around, so I got two for $64.14 including tax. These things have been getting cheaper and cheaper, but this is a pretty good price for no rebates.

Item # is 493200. Enter that in the Search field. Add to cart - it will show $99.97. Choose in-store pickup, and the price should drop. Since it's clearance, YMMV.

that's a great deal if an officedepot near you has it... for me, the closest officemax that has it is 199 miles away... :-(

I just purchased this deal, and I am having issues with it. I talked to the store I was going to pick them up at, and they said that I would need to bring the coupon for the coupon discount to take place. Do I really need to bring the coupon, and If so, how do I bring the Coupon if I found it online?

2nd the guy was saying that the price should be 54.99, and it was a glitch in their system... My question to you guys on here is that can he change the price of the product once it has already been purchased and taken out of my bank account? I have a feeling this "employee" is going to give me a hard time when I pick up the product. Any suggestions? I don't think he can do anything about the order, It has nothing to do with him, and I placed the order online, and they are just a point of pickup. The only real thing I think he might have me on is the 10 dollar off coupon, unless someone can tell me where to get one (it was a ten off 50).

Thanks in advance for your help.

🙁 I keep getting "When you placed product 0493200, in your shopping cart, we could fill the order, however, that quantity is not available now: Please change the quantity or remove this product from your shopping cart and try your request again. "

Bummer!

Just picked mine up @ office depot in mcallen, tx. no problem except they actually sent the invoice to houston, tx, which is a 7 hr drive away. not sure how they expected me to pick it up but the employee made a new order... he didn't apply my $20 coupon (off $100, I also bought the leather chair!) but said he "left a comment" that would be sent to the somebody that would issue a credit back... hmmmmmmmmmmm 😕

well, I got copies of everything so if they try to screw me i'll raise holy hell. i'll let you know how it turns out if anybody cares...

Incidentally, I don't know why anyone would have a problem with this in store... it's on page 5 of the friggin in-store ad... lousy employees...

damn. I want a larger capacity card. I have a bunch of 256s right now. I just couldnt pass up the 256mb SD for $7 they had the other day.

I had a similar issue; I picked one close to me, but the printable invoice is weird. The "Pickup Info" shows a location further away, which turns out to be their warehouse, and the "Location" actually shows the one I originally selected. I called both customer service and the location, neither one could figure out what happened; they said it should never show the warehouse, because you can't pick it up there. I just went in and bought it in-store for $34.97, but couldn't use the coupon; they said I had to show them the coupon. Oh well, I still needed one of these.

I'm not 100% sure (I threw my ad away yesterday) but I think it actually IS a glitch. I thought the 256mb one was $34.97, and the 512mb was $54.99, at least in my ad (No Cal), but I'm not sure.

Got my local BB on sunday to do a competitive price match on the sales price from the ad, got them out the door for $26.47, because BB is selling them for $119.99.
BTW the 256meg included a card reader, so it was more $$$
