I have five .png images. I'm looking for a way to paste them side by side and save as a .PNG image (to be used as header for a website). Anyone know of such a tool or website?

The "Paint" program in most any OS will be able to do this too, though you'll likely not get very good compression in the PNG file, and for a website header, small filesize is definitely something to consider.

For good PNG compression, I use Irfanview + the PNGOut plugin, available in the plugins pack. It takes awhile to compress a file, but the resulting compression is just about the best you can get. So you can do the editing in GIMP or Paint, save the file as a BMP or PNG, then use Irfanview to resave it and crush the filesize down.
If you can work it down to 256 colors, that'll save even more space.

Right-click the first PNG file and click Edit
Ctrl+E to see width of single image.
Win+R
calc
[Enter]
(enter the width of the single image)
*, 5, [Enter]
(take note of result)
Alt+F4 to close calc
(type calc result as the new width)
[Enter]
Ctrl+PgDn (if it's XP / Vista) or Ctrl+PgUp a few times (if it's Win7) to zoom

Without closing the first image, open each of the other images and press Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C, switch back to the first and Ctrl+V.
Align the image and repeat for the next one.

GIMP, although you'll have to resize the canvas and probably paste as a new layer.

Post the pics and tell me what you want done and I'll do it.
