Did you buy "256MBPC133ONLY" Centon memory at CC over the weekend? Not the PC100/133, but the 133ONLY? That deal, you'll recall, was 59.99 - 30MIR (Centon) - 30MIR (CC) = Free.

You can warm it up by going back today and pricematching (not reringing) to their today (12/1) price of 44.99. $15 (plus tax) back in your pocket.

When you bring the rebate forms in and lay everything all out on the counter ... YES. The salesdroid(ette) will undoubtedly give you the song and dance about "the price is still lower." And you walk out empty handed. Then you just have to come back in at another time after the shift was changed.

Best to take an approach of "I don't believe in rebates. They never come." Don't bring in the rebate forms. Without them, it's worked countless times for me. I suppose the hardcore out there would also send the $20 rebate from this week. I'm not planning to, but I'm sure an additional rebate from this week will undoubtedly work for some out there. I let them throw my this week's rebates away today ... gives the droid(ette) a feeling of power and saving the company money. Heh-heh.

At least that's how it is at my CC. YMMV,

This worked flawlessly for me! I got $17.xx back. This means I'll end up getting paid at least $15 for just buying this RAM b/c I got to keep my original sales reciept. I also got a new sales reciept with todays date on it, lol, so I'm gonna send that one in with the rebate for this week and see if I can get paid $35? lol, I shouldn't, but I'm gonna give it a try :p See if I can recoupe some damage I did after buying so many of those worthless warranty plans from CC ^_^

thx for the tip cranston... I would have found it eventually but you saved me some time :)

And make sure the manager isn't a woman, all the times I've been turned down they have been women.

I had a woman do my PM but she is a college student who I have done PM's with before... I think she is very up to date with CC procedures and never gives me any problems. :)

So they wouldn't insist on having and keeping the original receipt, as with any return anywhere?
I wanna keep my orig. and only send in the orig. $30 rebates.

You can PM this again at Circuit City. It's now advertised as $39.99.

This is $20 less from BF price or $5 less from the first price match.

So after the BF rebates your getting back 20 bucks. (plus 110% price match, minus tax and stamps)

wow! lol. I called the CC rebate hotline and asked them if PM invalidated my rebate with CC. They said no! However, to their computer system it looks like a retrun when I do the PM. She said to use the PM rebate reciept, however it was too late for that. She said it might get rejected but then I could call in and fax them a copy of my PM reciept as proof I didn't return the drive.
