pm notification idea

Well this might be hard to do but maybe something could be set up so that a little window pops up when you get a new PM. I know I will be reading the forums and then notice that I got a PM 30 minutes before, and more often then not the person has now signed off. If there was a notification then when I got the PM right away I would know and could reply, for buying and selling I know this would speed things along..... just an idea

It wouldn't need to be a "popup" , it could just be a div in the center of the page using absolute positioning. Could all be done with CSS and JS.

FuseTalk has a much more unobtrusive feature in the upper left hand corner in a pane entitled Private Messages. When you receive a PM it will flash at you. Not hard to notice at all in my honest opinion.

the forums that have popups for pms are annoying. however i'd love to be notified by email when i got a new pm.
