Right now I am using horde for my own website. As in they hoard crap. Horrible.

So now I need to switch providers. Need easy transfer of domain MX records to new provider as well. Anyone know of a good/great provider that has kick ass web e-mail client, for about less than $25 per year?

How many accounts? You might be better off just hosting yourself on a low end dedicated server or VPS. That's what I'm doing now and it's great. I would not even trust the email my ISP offers over my own system. (I work for that ISP lol) The beauty is you can SSL everything so your passwords arn't going in clear text.

most webhosts will give you the ability to use squirrelmail.

it's my favorite web based mail client.

I've switched all my sites over to Google Apps based e-mail.

Same here. I've got 4 domains and 50 users up there all on free accounts. It has been great.

Have you considered hosted Microsoft Exchange, if you use your e-mail in a business setting?

Fastmail.FM. I can't recall how much I pay per year, but their web client is awesome, and they also support IMAP4/SMTP.

Google Apps ftw, unless you know how to run and maintain your own mail servers 🙂

I went down that trail, it was too many hours of my time for the number of users. I really dig letting google apps handle it now🙂

Can anyone suggest a provider other than Google or Yahoo?

What more do you want than what Google offers? It's free, it has a great web client, and you can use your own domain name.

I use www.1and1.com to host my POP email. I hardly ever use it, but their webmail is lacking. I pay $11/year i think.
It took me 6 months and countless emails, faxes and calls to get them to release my domain name.
That's what I get for signing up for "free" hosting.
