PLZ Help with new Upgrade

I am currently running a p3 700e@933 on a CUSL2-C and have decided that Intel really has nothing else to offer for my current setup. The idea of buying a higher speed pentium 3 seems pointless since the platform is slowly dieing off.

Anyways, I've decided to go AMD and have chosen the IWILL K266/IWILL K266-R due to its great stability and overclockability, I would like to use my current 256MB of mushkin REV2 so a DDR board is kinda out of the question. I have a bugget of about $225-250 and I'm really not sure what processor to go for. This setup will be used primarily for gaming so of course faster is better. I'm leaning towards a 1Gig Axia/266mhz FSB chip(any ideas on a good retailer/price) and hopefully getting a nice overclock out of it, any opinions on this choice to sway/inform me are appreciated,

Also this summer when I start to come across more money I would really like to consider setting up a 2HD RAID buying a IBM 30GB 60GXP to add to my 30GB IBM 75GXP. This might be a stupid question but if I was to buy the IWILL K266-R could I run it non RAID until I purchased the second hardrive, or would I be better off buying a PCI raid controller and going with the non raid version?

I really cant help you with reccommendations, but i was wondering if you wanted to sell that cpu. I am about to buy a pretested PIII 700E from compuwhiz, but if you want to get rid of it i would be interested. i have no need for the mboard though.

It was guranteed at 1008mhz but I run it at 933 right now because its too damn hot in my room and my parents are gay about putting the AC on.
