plz help , the difference between OCZ Vertex2 (2.5) and (3.5)

Hi guys , am wondering , whats the difference between OCZ Vertex 2 (OCZSSD2-2VTXE90G)(2.5) and (OCZSSD3-2VTX90G)(3.5) ? is there any difference in performance ? and why the 2.5 is always more expensive than the 3.5 ? is it the size only ? thnx in advance .

I don't think there's any difference between those two. The 2.5" version comes with a 3.5" adapter bracket and will fit in a notebook too. Price differential is probably based on market demand or introductory pricing or whatever voodoo they use to determine prices for products (it isn't supply and demand).

No difference at all man its just the size of it. Some are going 1.8inch now but no difference man. soo no worries man.. gl

2.5" has the option of being put into a notebook, so that's why it makes it a bit more expensive, as the 3.5" can pretty much be put into desktops or external enclosures. (That's what I think anyways)
