I was really hoping to get www.pcgamesforum.com rolling. I've always wanted to run my own forum....it's like a dream I've had...and now it's coming true. But I was really hoping to get more members...because right now it's just too darn slow. I mean we have 104 members...which is better than I would have thought for it only up like a month. But now it's sort of leveling out...like it was sky rocketing for a while now no one is joining. I really really want my site to get some major hits...but I don't know what else to possibly do. I know you guys think I joined this place just to plug my site...but not at all. I just know you guys actually care and help out unlike some other forums. So I figured you guys would be the best people to turn to...so what should I do? :(

Here's what seems to work.

Join a new message board and post something in the off topic areas asking what you should do. Make sure you add the link to your cool forums.

You're going to have to really start telling people, then. A very slim amount of who gets word of your site will actually participate.

You have an Anything Goes, Campfire, and Useless Nonsense forum which could be compacted into one forum. The point is games, not stories, right?

White may be a better choice for a forum. With a lot of reading, black on white really helps your eyes. If you're worried about looking too bland, try changing the script around so the layout is different than other popular forums.
