The pump is about 3.5 years old. The reason for the low price is because there is a mineral buildup inside that i cannot completely clean out. I tried to use some diluted CLR and that took most of it off, but not all of it. The effect this has on the pump is that it is not so quiet anymore (makes a vibrating sound). The pump is still in good working condition, ie it still pumps water at the specced rate im assuming. The pump is sold as is. I garuntee it to be non DOA, but that is all. My heat is in my sig. If you have less heat than i do, you pay first, period. Shipping method is up to the buyer, i do require delivery confirmation. I prefer UPS ground since there is a store across the street, but i can accomodate. I can provide pics upon request. pics of the buildup may be difficult to provide since the buildup is in the hole that the spindle shaft goes in.
