is there a such animal in english language as makeups? can there ever be a case where the word makeups can be used grammatically correct? please settle this dispute. my personal view on this is... the word makeup or make-up is a singular and plural at the same time. however when you are dealing with different entities of makeup, you can say makeups. for example..., the world people is a plural form of person. however, when you are talking about different groups of people, you can say peoples. any english scholars here?
