That's the problem with bringing along a hot chick; whatever you say just annoys people trying to look at the hot chick. Also Palin is way smarter than Biden. Also McCain is mostly liked by people who point him out as a good Republican - but the Democrat candidate (whomever he or she may be) is just so darned good. Also McCain is way dumber than Obama.

Thats not saying much. They're both idiots.

In an attempt to penetrate the titanium shell around your depleted uranium cranium, I will again post your quote, bolded and underscored:

Vice President Biden never said or implied that military tribunal defendants do not receive representation.
My titanium shell is classified. Expect a visit from some men in black.

I did indeed assume that Biden meant military trial defendants did not get representation. As I explained, I did not think that even Biden could have assumed that Brown meant military trial defendants did not get defense lawyers BECAUSE BROWN IS A MILITARY DEFENSE LAWYER. BROWN BEING A MILITARY DEFENSE LAWYER HE COULD NOT POSSIBLY HAVE MEANT THAT MILITARY TRIAL DEFENDANTS DO NOT GET DEFENSE LAWYERS BECAUSE, AGAIN, THAT IS HOW HE HAS SERVED HIS COUNTRY FOR OVER THIRTY YEARS. If that was indeed what Biden was implying, then he is either more dense than even I thought, or even less honest than even I thought. Either of those options seems unlikely to me, but you may be correct.

Brown implied that military trial defendents don't get representation. He should know better... in fact he DOES know better but is playing politics. Biden called him out.

Biden is right and Brown was wrong. Not much more to this story unless you want to make it so...

Brown never implied that military defendants don't get defense lawyers - he was a military trial defense lawyer for over thirty years. What he implied was that it was better to spend tax money pursuing terrorists than on hiring lawyers for them. Again, Brown obviously knows that the defendants would be given military defense lawyers; he also knows that a buttload more money will be spent hiring civilian defense lawyers. A civilian trial will cost loads more tax money for defense lawyers than a military trial. It's a perfectly valid, perfectly clear point to any rational party. Even if you want to get technical and parse words (a la Clinton) it remains a valid point as civilian lawyers are hired for the trial whereas military lawyers are hired by the term of enlistment and assigned to trials as needed. There is simply no way that Biden could legitimately believe Brown implied that military defendants don't get defense lawyers unless he is dense as uranium.

Don't spend the money on hiring them lawyers, spend it on defeating them.

You have lost all credibility you had with such an assessment.

In an ongoing war of words, Senator Brown has responded rather angrily to Biden's assertion that he should get his facts straight about legal representation in military trials.

For those who don't know, Scott Brown has been a military lawyer for decades and according to Politico is the Guard's top defense lawyer in the New England region. In other words, he is the lawyer Biden is asserting that military trial defendants don't get.

Even if you automatically consider yourself the smartest man in the room, it never hurts to actually know your opponent - or to at least know what you're talking about.

LMAO at you and the idiots who jumped in before reading the article.

Yeah, my bad. I just couldn't believe Biden was accusing Brown, a military defense lawyer, of not knowing that military defendants get defense lawyers. So I assumed Biden was asserting that. I was wrong.

He still got schooled, though.

I'm absolutely sure that the only reason why Obama picked Biden is because Bidens gafts would overshadow Obamas.

Additionally, it seems all the Palin haters out there have a huge blind spot when it comes to ol' plugs.

All I see here is one politician making a sound-byte to score political points through the media, and the other making a jab to, again, score political through the media.

Pretty much, except Biden is accusing Brown of not knowing that his own livelihood exists. Even for Biden that's a stretch.

Imagine the left if Palin implied that Obama didn't know that ACORN had community organizers.

Neither I nor anyone else has to imagine anything. The right and the left make plenty of idiotic statements, and each time the pundits and commentators make hay out of it.. pretty much because they're paid to do so; it's how they make a living. That doesn't mean their words are gospel, though, which is what more people need to understand.
