Plugging multiple (2-4) sets of speakers into a laptops 3.5mm jack

Hi, I have

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Black-St...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

or even

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3-5mm-Au...458856&hash=item3f87e8ca37:g:JwsAAOSwkzhZu5nF

I want to plug at least 2 sets of speakers, possibly 3, maximum of 4 (each speaker is a stereo set, or 2.1 stereo with sub) into my laptops 3.5mm headphone socket

The volume won't be anything massive, the power source isn't a problem, the question if anyone can help, is will I have any problems with the impedance that the 3.5mm jack socket sees with 2, 3 or 4 sets plugged in?

many thanks

Hi, power isnt a problem

the low powered speakers (2 pairs maximum) will be through the usb (which I believe can give up to 500mA?)

the 2.1 set have their own mains supply

so you want 1 usb set and 1 3.5 set?

give it a try

but 500ma is enough for headphones, speakers not so much really

Hi, one of the speakers is

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/USB-Clip...844865?hash=item1a4e99b101:g:VRoAAOSwKT9a9e9y

one will probably be

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENIUS-HF160-WOODEN-USB-STEREO-SPEAKERS-FOR-PC-LAPTOP-DESKTOP-COMPUTER/182270396584?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

and the 2.1 set (own mains power supply) is

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sumvision-N-Cube-Pro-2-1-Speakers-System-With-Subwoofer-For-PC-Laptop-MP3/202373120500?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

It depends what the treble is like from the wooden speakers, I've tried some soundbars which lack in the treble, the 1st (£6) set above have good treble (but not a lot of anything else), so I'm keeping in mind to keep those as well as the other set

what is the purpose in so many sets?

you may be better served with a 'good' set like the klipsch pro media

could you link to the klipsch? I'm definitely not after room filling sound, I just want some decent, moderate-volume frequency response for tv speech and music

as was saying...I've found sound bars to be lacking in treble, and I want bass that desktop speakers in the price range I'm looking at probably wont provide (I'm slightly limited on space as well). they are from ebay so I've got a few days to return them...lol

the total amount spent on the 3 sets is £35, so if you know some desktop or 2.1 speaker thats will provide good frequency response at moderate volume for say below £45, I'd be interested
