Lots of people have been talking about plugging their Dreamcasts, playstations etc into their PC monitors, how would I do this? Drool, playing Dreamcast games at 1600X1200;)

You need a VGA box. You can't do it with the PSX/PS2. You can't run it at 1600x1200. It will run at 640x480. But it still looks ALOT better(I have a VGA box for my DC)

I agree. Dreamcast looks much better on VGA (and VGA-boxes are down to like $10 now. I got mine for $30 a while back at EB). I still keep mine connected to standard tv though, as it's just more relaxing to kickback on play on the tv than to sit at my desk.

I plug my Playstation right into my old Commodore 64 monitor. It has RCA ins for audio & video. I realize it's not a very big screen but it has the best damn picture.

Sir Fredrick: Electronics Boutique (they're in almost all malls) sells them for like $10 now. Babbages would probably have them as well, but I'm not positive.

Take a look here. That was a thread where I wanted to know basically the same thing. I ended up going with a Radio Shack a/v switcher which plugs into the ATi video card via S-Video.

Edit:
I just re-read your post and I didn't understand it fully. You just want to use a monitor, or actually hook the console up to the computer you already have? BTW, if anyone cares Nintendo stills sells the S-Video cable kit for the Super NES. Some old school action going on.:D
