If you mean the flashing of a P4S333 with a P4S533 BIOS, I used the currently posted P4S533 (no LAN) BIOS 1.009c for my Asus P4S333 without LAN. It worked just fine to give the 4:5 CPU:Mem ratio that I needed.

Thugs, first of all thanks for the LINK but it doesnt work on my p4b533- I mean the mobo turns on but there's no video...I hope you could give me link where to get version BIOS 1007 or older .. Asus site has the older bios for the RAID version but only has 1008 and 1011 for my p4b533..
Right now I'm maxed at 156 (stable) with my 2.4B @ 2808 GHz...My goal is to reach 3 GHz so I'm kind of frustrated. I might return this 2.4B and get the 2.5 ( C-1) ...Actually I was hoping Newegg would send me SL6EF (C-1) when I ordered my 2.4 last week but ended up getting one with SL6D7 code..:(
Any suggestions please???
I wish somebody would EMAIL me an older versions of the BIOS @ josephgaton@yahoo.com or thru ICQ 93456837.. Thank you in advance!

i have most of the older version beta bioses ~ none of them have any ratios so dont bother.

if you cant boot using the "DS6 trick" its your memory that cant do it.
are you using 2 sticks? ....you can only use 1 stick and it must be in slot1

HTH :)

i tried again coz at first i placed the ram in slot2 and it worked... but at 2987 GHz i would get a blue screen with some error messages on it..by the way im using the stock INTEL HSF.. do you think i have a temp problem? i hate to use a louder fan:(
fortunately one friend of mine is willing to buy my 2.4 for $200 so i dont have to rma it... then i ordered the 2.5 (c-1) @ $ 262. :(...
i hope i'll be able to hit 3 ghz this time...i'm gonna give my p4b533 and corsair 3500 another try ....

THUGS, i have a question... now that ill be running my 2.5 GHz(400 ) around 120-130 fsb , does that mean my XMS 3500 512 mb becomes an "overkill" since i wont be running in 150+ fsb range anymore?? Do you think i should return it and get 2 sticks of 512 mb XMS 2400 or 2700 ...? One last question, is it worth returning my Ti4200 ($153) and get the radeon 9700 ($344) instead?

Hmm,with my 2.5 ghz processor i think ill be getting less bandwidth (due to lower fsb) maybe i should try the 2.26..
ahhhhhhhhhh, im confused!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
