today at work I have to edit the entire office's employees photo archive by adding their names in the comment line. (which is, right-click file, Property, the third tab). The file is originally named with the employee's code number.

after I am done with it I upload the folder to my boss's computer, which runs WinXP. Miraclously the comment lines disappear and i have to redo the whole thing in XP again. I originally did the edit under Win2k. and my co-worker's can see/view the comment line too under their Win2k computer, it is whenever it gets to a comp with XP the comment line disappears. it's vice versa too, when I add the comment line in XP it disappears under Win2k.

I told my boss i will append the employee name to the File Name itself, so no matter what OS it can still find the employee names. but that's a LOT of typing to do.... 🙁

I have the demotivators calender on my wall, and that very poster is up for the month of February.

you could have written a program to do it... depending on how many pictures there are, that might have been more trouble than it's worth though.
