Sure, here is a close-up photo of how you can move the wires in the plug: Canon A60 macro shot <img src=...smile.gif" border="0"> Lift the "leaf spring" that's retaining the wire, while gently pulling the wire out, and then slide it into the other hole.
Because LEDs are directional, if it doesn't light up when you've done this, then remove both wires and swap their positions (or flip the plug if its vacant hole has room).

Thanks for your advice. Now all 3 of my cases have fucntioning power LED. Guess I never looked at those headers carefully enough to realize they're so easy to remove.
